ENTERPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CELL
EDC is started with the object of promoting specialized knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship development. EDC is being promoted in the JMCTs,Institute of Pharmacy to create the entreprenial and to foster techno-entrepreneurship for generation of Pharma business and employment of Pharma students. Cell plans to organize various programmes regarding entrepreneurship development.
VISION
To produce successful enterpreneurs imbibed with innovative skills and ethical business practices contributing to the development of the society and growth of the nation.
MISSION
To promote the culture and spirit of entrepreneurship among students and motivate them to become enterpreneurs.
Objectives
- Constant vigilance across the campus and outside (in college buses and areas near college) to ensure that there is no incidents of ragging.
- Publication of the anti-ragging policy across the campus and in publications to ensure maximum knowledge distribution.
- Dealing with detected cases immediately and with due diligence to ensure there is no delay in justice.
- Physical separation of first year students from the rest of the students (like separate lunch hour and remote building) to minimize contact.
- Meting out exemplary punishment (with approval from Principal) as per guidelines from JNTU to perpetrators to deter them from repeating the offense.
- Counseling of victims to ensure their return to the mainstream without fear.
